RULES OF INFECTIOUS DISEASES COURSE FOR 3rd YEAR STUDENTS MEDICAL UNIVERSITY OF SILESIA IN ZABRZE ENGLISH CLASS
1. The classes in the field of infectious diseases include five days - one day in the subsequent five weeks. Time spent with patient - 16 hours.
2. Individual weeks of classes vary in seminar topic.
3. Each group has its own class schedule.
4. Students are required to be equipped with aprons and protective skoe well as stethoscope.
5. Presence in all classes, seminara, lectures and the knowledge from recommended textbooks is required.
6. The absence must be worked off accordingly to the Classes Head. An excuse for absence is required.
7. Passing the classes and the evaluation of the assessment is based oi rules described in Appendix 1 to resolution No 42/2016 of Senate of Medical University of Silesia of 27 April 2016, that is the Appendiv No 1 to Resolution No 139/2007 of Senate of Medical academy of Silesia of 27 April 2007.
8. The evaluation grade follows the completion of all groups in infectious diseases course.
9. The date and the place of evaluation will be determined by the Dean's Office of Medical University of Silesia in Zabrze, student representatives, and employees of the department of Infectious of Infectious in Medical University of Silesia and approved by the Head of the Department of Infectious Diseases in Medical University of Silesia.
10. The evaluation and its grade will take place in the term not colliding with other classes.
11.The evaluation of a written test consists of 30 closed questions ( singer or multiple chioce) and it lasts 30 minutes.
12. The evaluation of a written test is carried out according to the Regulation No 75/2016 of 21 June 2016 of Rector of the Medical University of Silesia, Annex 1 to the Regulation No 75/2016 of 21 June 2016 of Rector of the Medical University of Silesia, and Annex No 1 of Rules of conducting examination/evaluation tests in Medical University of Silesia.
13. The obtained grade in the assessment is final.
14. Only failing the final assessment is the reason for bettering the grade.
15. The resit will be available as a oral answer, after determination of the term with the Head of the Department of Infectious Diseases in Medical University of Silesia.
16. According to Study Regulations of Medical University of Silesia, section 3, point 12, there is forbidden to use of all kinds of recording and transmitting devices during classes, assessments, and exams. If prohibition is broken panalties from Study Regulation will be used.
17. There is no possiblity to make up for the classes in advance.
18. Students who are late to classes need to make sure, whether their absence has been corrected.
19. Students with contraindications to some biological agents exposure should inform the Classes Head before the begginning of the classes ( on the basis of Appendix 3 to the Medical Unicersity of Silesia Labor Regulations point. IVa).
